中國香港體育協會暨奧林匹克委員會（港協暨奧委會）提升中國香港龍舟總會至會員資格
港協暨奧委會於2016 年12 月12 日舉行第372 次常務會議，並公佈中國香港龍舟總會由即日起正式由觀察員升格為屬會會員。
中國香港龍舟總會以推廣龍舟活動成為國際體育競賽並宣揚其獨有的傳統文化為宗旨，並承諾將會繼續不遺餘力推廣龍舟運動。
Membership upgrade of the HKCDBA under the Sports Federation & Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China (SF&OC)
The membership of Hong Kong China Dragon Boat Association (HKCDBA) under SF&OC was upgraded from Observer to Associate Member at the 372nd Council Meeting of the SF&OC held on 12th December 2016.
HKCDBA aims to promote dragon boating as a unique cultural sport for competitions worldwide and promises to bring the sport of dragon boating to a broader horizon.
